Definitely not. It had nothing to do with general Maczek. It was a picture of this statue: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ma%C5%82y_Powstaniec , a most widlely known monument of Warsaw Uprising. Actually it's a child soldier with a gun and a nazi helmet marked with a white and red scarf. You should have seen in while walking in the Old Town area.NAC EL pisze: 20:00. Kick-off. Polonia fans are raising a very nice banner with a Polish soldier on it. In the away-end, we were speculating if the soldier was supposed to be general Maczek. Was it or was it not?
It says: thank you, have a nice trip. What does this sign mean: http://www.mijnalbum.nl/Foto-HHPTJ6PA.jpg
It's a health insurance company. What does Pzu Pomoc mean? We saw a sign in the middle of nowhere saying that.
Yes, these were beeing sold on our stand too, but I haven't seen any because all have been already sold half an hour before the game. I was told that they are going to have some more of these scarfs on the next match (next Sunday). If your friend wants this scarf badly, we can think of sending it by mail, or maybe you should just contact the manufacturers if they are willing to send their stuff abroad: http://www.ludziezestoiska.pl/. However I do not guarentee a quick response from these guys or any response at all.I've got a scarf showing Polonia and NAC, made for this match. Was this sold at the home stands as well? Does anybody have one spare of this scarf? A friend of me really wants one. He is willing to pay for it of course.
Owwww, good to know that. I haven't seen the statue actually, that would made it more clearly at the start of the match.mesc pisze:Definitely not. It had nothing to do with general Maczek. Hehe, that was fun. And your players joined in. We can be really nice guys after a victoryHoekieB pisze: After the match while we wait:
Cheap beer isn't everything I'm curious what can we expect if we will go to the `t Hoekse´ or ´Café Beatrix´ before/after the game? Is it better to avoid such confrontation? You must have had a lot of laugh if you really thought that this flag was a picture of Maczek. Shame on you! Wasn't it obvious that this is actually a child?NAC EL pisze: Owwww, good to know that. I haven't seen the statue actually, that would made it more clearly at the start of the match.
It looks nice anyway.
It's hard to tell. Also, I can't say if the police will approve of your going about in Breda. With the away match, there were NAC fans like they are supposed to be. I've never felt any dislike from the Polonia fans, and that's the key I think. When you respect us, we respect you. I don't think that there are NAC fans that want to get in a fight with you, unless you guys make that happen.Dilbert pisze:Cheap beer isn't everything I'm curious what can we expect if we will go to the `t Hoekse´ or ´Café Beatrix´ before/after the game? I know it didn't seem logical, but we just didn't know what it was and hoped it was made especially for us. Would be very cool though. I would like to see it 2vs2 , for me reather not possible because legia is playing with Broendby in the same timeNAC EL pisze:
Second thing is, there are rumours that Ado The Hague idiots with their Legia buttbuddies are coming to Breda to fight with us, hoping that Polonia fans will join in causing a major 2 clubs against 2 clubs fight. If the police takes this seriously, which I'm guessing, it could be hard for you to get in a bar without problems.
Most NAC fans where busy annoying Polish girls by asking them to take a picture with them. Beer was cheap, that was also a plus for most.krol_olch pisze:the flag was made special for that game, but not specially for you, sorry. Btw. you seem to be very positive about the whole trip, but then you were already positive about it before the game. Can you tell what were the impressions of the "average" Breda fan? I would assume that most of you were kind of expecting a visit at the "Wild East" inhabited by the families of Polish guest-workers and with dogs barking with their asses (polar bears if it were winter). What was the general "talk" on your stand?
And why on Earth did you chose to hang out at Fukier, of all places?
